You do not need to design or code themes to earn from them. Most premium WordPress theme companies run affiliate programs that pay 30 to 70 percent of each sale you refer, and several pay on renewals too, so one customer keeps paying you every year. If you write about WordPress, blogging, or web design, theme affiliate programs are some of the easiest to fit naturally into tutorials, reviews, and roundups. I have earned more than $7,000 from the MyThemeShop program alone.
This list covers 13 WordPress theme affiliate programs that are active in October 2026, with their current commission rates. Updated October 2026: TeslaThemes, Theme Junkie, and ThemeFuse have closed and were removed; Elementor, Astra, Blocksy, and Anariel Design were added. New to affiliate marketing? 1. Elegant Themes (Divi)

Elegant Themes pays 50 percent on new Divi memberships and on every subscription renewal, plus 50 percent on Divi Cloud and other Pro add-ons. Because Divi is one of the best-known WordPress products and the membership is cheap for what it includes ($89 a year or $249 lifetime), it converts very well. The recurring renewals make it one of the most valuable theme programs over time. See our Elegant Themes review.
2. MyThemeShop

MyThemeShop pays 55 percent per sale on its themes and plugins and has more than 5,000 affiliates. Its catalog is smaller than it used to be (most older themes were retired), so focus on its remaining themes, WP Review Pro, and the theme club membership. It is the program I have earned the most from among theme companies.
3. ThemeIsle

ThemeIsle, the company behind the Neve and Hestia themes and plugins such as Otter Blocks, pays 55 percent on all sales with a 90-day cookie. Neve is a popular free theme, which makes the Pro upgrade an easy recommendation. The program runs through Awin (formerly ShareASale).
4. Elementor

Elementor is the most used page builder on WordPress, and its affiliate program pays roughly 45 to 55 percent on first purchases of Elementor Pro, Elementor One, and Elementor Hosting. It is not a theme in the traditional sense, but most readers asking about themes are also choosing a builder, and Elementor converts well on tutorials.
5. PremiumPress

PremiumPress sells business themes for directories, classifieds, auctions, job boards, and marketplaces. Its tiered program starts at 30 percent and rises to 50 percent at 10 sales a month and 70 percent at 25 sales. Its themes are niche but expensive, so even the base rate is a high payout per sale.
6. PremiumCoding

PremiumCoding starts affiliates at 40 percent and moves them up to 50 percent as sales grow, and it also pays on renewals. Its themes cover blogs, portfolios, and small businesses.
7. CyberChimps

CyberChimps, maker of the long-running Responsive theme and its Pro add-ons, pays a flat 40 percent commission on each sale, up to about $119 on lifetime plans.
8. EngineThemes

EngineThemes sells app-like themes for marketplaces, job boards, Q&A sites, and directories, and pays 35 percent on qualifying referred purchases. Approval is quick.
9. Astra

Astra is one of the most installed WordPress themes, and Brainstorm Force pays 30 percent on Astra Pro and its bundles, including lifetime plans. The free theme\’s huge user base means many readers already know it, which makes the upgrade easy to recommend.
10. Blocksy

Blocksy, a fast block-editor theme with a large free user base, pays 30 percent on all premium plans, yearly and lifetime.
11. WPZOOM

WPZOOM has sold themes since 2009 (Foodica, Tribune, Inspiro, and more) and pays 30 percent on sales generated through your links. Its food and video themes fit well on niche blogs.
12. Anariel Design

Anariel Design makes modern block themes for bloggers, creators, and small businesses, and pays up to 30 percent on theme sales and 10 percent on setup services.
13. Envato Market (ThemeForest)

ThemeForest is the biggest WordPress theme marketplace (Newspaper, Avada, Soledad, and thousands more). Envato\’s affiliate program, run through Impact, pays a commission on a referred customer\’s first purchase. You can link to any item, which makes it ideal for theme roundups where products come from many developers.
How to Earn More From Theme Affiliate Programs
- Write roundups for specific needs (“best themes for food blogs”, “best Divi child themes”) rather than generic “best themes” lists.
- Write tutorials using the theme you promote, such as setting up Astra or building a homepage in Divi.
- Favor programs with renewal commissions; they keep paying for the same customer.
- Use a link manager such as ThirstyAffiliates so you can update links when programs change networks.
- Disclose your affiliate links clearly.
- Read how to make your first affiliate sale and our list of premium WordPress theme sites for more programs to consider.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which WordPress theme affiliate program pays the most?
By percentage, PremiumPress (up to 70 percent) and MyThemeShop and ThemeIsle (55 percent). Over time, Elegant Themes often earns the most because it pays 50 percent on every renewal.
Do I need a WordPress blog to join?
Most programs want a website or audience related to WordPress, design, or blogging, but you do not need large traffic. Some approve instantly.
Can I promote free themes?
Yes, and it often works better: recommend the free version (Astra, Neve, Blocksy, Kadence) and earn when readers upgrade to Pro.
