If you are an Adsense Publisher, chances that you want to increase your earning through more clicks. Sometimes it happens that you have good CTR, I mean you are getting good clicks from Adsense but your estimated earning is low. For example, you got 40 clicks and your estimated earning was $0.77! It’s really unexpected.

You aren’t responsible for this low earning. Actually, Low CPC (Cost Per Click) is responsible for this. You might have noticed that Adsense shows Ads according to post contents mostly. Specifically, we can say, Ads are related to post’s keywords. CPC is related to these keywords.

Google won’t pay you an average rate for clicks. Sometimes you will earn $3 for a click where sometimes they won’t pay you $3 for 50 clicks. Here is the point. It depends on the Ads that people clicked. If people clicked on a high paying Ad then you’ll get a good payment. As I said Ads are showing according to your content’s keywords, if you have high paying keywords in your post you will get high PPC (Pay Per Click).

So What is High Paying Keyword?

High Paying Keyword is the keyword that has high CPC for which advertisers (Adwords) are bidding for. Having high paying keyword mean more PPC income for publishers (Adsense).

  6. Thanks for sharing. I just started a random blog, and i know i am taking a risk, but i figured if i write about my interests thats better than a blog purely focused on higher paying keywords and topics i know nothing about. I will see how it goes!

  7. Hi Rayhan!

Very informative post on getting high paying Adsense Keywords! Yes, SEMRUSH is a great tool which definitely worth to use!

By the way, i have noticed that, this paragraph has been overwritten in this post “Hope this post helps you to find high paying Adsense keywords……. Google+.)

I think you got me rightly!

    Happy blogging!

  8. Excellent article! I have never thought about analyzing competitor’s websites to find high paying keywords. I have just been picking the most searched terms from Google’s Adword planner. Thank you!

  9. First of all thank you so much for this fantastic article. It’s going to help so much to understand the money making tips for all… The truth is that many people ignore high CPC long tail words and join the masses in competing for seed words that aren’t worth fighting for.

While blogging, sometimes I also get high click from $10 to $50, Recently I have got $60.40 from 3 clicks, The Avg per click cost is $20.13, and the country is Netherlands, I guess there are some ads like CPA networks which pays $20 per lead for pin submits etc, good news is, my traffic are from 3rdworlds! Lol!

But I must tell you… Nowadays to get ranking on high CPC keyword is very tough, we have to use only the long tail CPC keywords in our posts, and it will drive more AdSense earnings, you’ll net get this high CPC all the times! But if you want to get high CPC, try to choose high paying niche! E.g., cancer, payday loans, forex, hosting, etc! But if you site about blogging, Adsense money, SEO, etc! Trust me you’ll get crap!

It is also necessary that traffic should come through organic search only. If I drive traffic of USA and UK through social media to my website on keywords having high CPC then shall I will get the same commission as through organic search or will it differ.

  10. Google keeps giving away $100 coupons and thousands of new marketers coming to Adwords to increase the competition and over-inflate the CPC, perfect business model for big G.

Using SEMrush, I learned about my business and my competition, but the most important thing is the high paying keywords found by mistake while searching for other websites keywords.

  20. Hi Istiak, You have shown a good way of getting high paying keywords with SEMrush. But can we believe these values? Also how to write content once you find a good keyword. Should I target only 1 or couple of keywords? Please give your strategies, to writing awesome content so that it’ll rank well in google.

    1. When it comes to writing a post that get high rank, I’d suggest you to target long tail Keyword. For example, it’s comparatively easy to rank for the keywords “black shoes with navy suit socks” rather than “black shoes”. And make your post as detailed as possible to get high rank.
