Whenever we type someting on Google search box, we receive some auto suggestions that perhaps we might want to searh for. It’s very helpful for users to get their queries easily.
We, the bloggers, can use this to find out what actually people are searching for. This is called keywords research. If you’ve been blogging for a while, then you should be familiar with the concept of keywords research.
I always do Google Instant Search to find perfect kywords for my post. But it’s kind of boring as I need to change keywords to get more ideas. This is why Ubersuggest comes into the scenario.
Ubersuggest is a free keyword suggestion tool that helps you to get lots of keyword ideas from real user queries for your blog post. It will also help you to find long tail keywords. Before we move to how to use it, let’s see how it works.
How Ubersuggest Works
Once you’ve entered a term in Ubersuggest, it will add a letter or a digit in front of it and extract suggestions for you. For example, if your term is ‘best wordpress plugin’, it will add ‘a’ in front of your term to check if Google suggests any new term. And it will do it for every letter (a-z) and digit (1-9).
How to Use Ubersuggest Keyword Suggestion Tool
At first, go to Ubersuggest and enter your term on query field. For example, I am going to do keyword research for the post Sites to find Premium WordPress Theme. I put the keyword ‘premium wordpress theme sites’ on the queiry field and select the language. And click to ‘Suggest’.
It will list down the all keyword suggestions. Click on each keyword to get further suggestion for that term to get more ideas. And click on plus button to add keywords on your your list.
Now click on ‘Get’ from sidebar to copy the selected keywords.
Though you should target only few keywords, but I would suggest you to add some other keywords if those are relevant to your post. Once again, you don’t do keyword stuffing.
Hope this tool helps you to do keyword research more efficiently. Do let us know if you use any other keyword suggestion tools. If you find this post useful, help me by sharing this post on Facebook, Twitter or Google+.
