Canva is my favorite design tool, and I use it for most of the graphics on this blog. Its logo maker has thousands of templates: pick one, change the name, fonts, colors, and icon, and download it free as a PNG. Pro adds transparent backgrounds, brand kits, and SVG downloads. Adobe Express offers free logo templates, Adobe Fonts, and Firefly AI tools that can generate icons and graphics from a text prompt. The free plan is generous; Premium unlocks every template and brand kits.

As the name says, this tool is all about making a logo fast. Add your blog name, pick a symbol from the library, adjust colors and fonts, and download. It is the tool I used for RoadToBlogging\’s first logo. The free download is fine for a new blog; high-resolution files are paid.
4. Shopify Logo Maker
Shopify\’s free logo maker now uses AI. Describe your business and style, and it generates logo ideas you can customize and download free. You can ignore the store offers if you only need a blog logo.
5. Namecheap Logo Maker
Namecheap, the domain registrar, offers a free logo maker: enter your name, pick styles you like, and it creates options you can edit and download in high resolution at no cost.
6. FreeLogoDesign
FreeLogoDesign is simple: enter your blog name, choose a category, and pick from generated logos. The basic download is free; larger, high-resolution files are paid.

Tips for a Good Blog Logo
- Keep it simple: it must be readable at small sizes, such as a browser tab or social profile.
- Use one or two colors and fonts that match your blog.
- Download a PNG with a transparent background, or an SVG, so it looks good on any background.
- Make a square version for your site icon (favicon) and social profiles.
- For WordPress, upload it under Appearance > Customize > Site Identity, or with the Site Logo block in a block theme.
