Hi Istiak, I use Yoast premium that provides a service for it, but many times I do it naturally myself as they make sense. I’m not sure about my anchor texts though. Thanks for the informative piece here. I will pay more attention to those anchors.

Very informative post. The Yoast SEO Premium Plugin is the best tool for interlinking. One thing more, I entered the text ‘internal linking’ at the end of my blog but it says “- did not match any documents.” Is it means there is no internal links or the command is incorrect? Thanks, bro

    Hello Istiak Rayhan,

First of all, I just want to say that you have created such an informative article about internal linking. And the thing which I liked the most in this article is “Use Google Search” because I have no idea about this.

So thank you so much for sharing this great information.

I have started applying this method, but still I haven’t seen any improvements yet. I find websites with higher DA getting higher ranks. And the most preferred and recommended way to increase DA is link building. I’m pretty much confused about what I should do with my website. I have been trying my best to come up with new contents and also, trying to keep contents as thick as possible.
What am I doing wron? Need suggestions.

      Hi Rifat,

      Thanks for stopping by.

Don’t care much about DA. It’s not from Google. Just keep writing in-depth posts and promote them extensively.

    2. Faisal Rehman Avatar

I had the same feelings in the beginning, just getting worried about DA. It’s just a metric and it’ll eventually grow itself as long as you keep updating content and getting backlinks.

      Never stop sharing and promoting!

I have a suggestion. Rank math is the new SEO plugin in town and it provides a handy tool that automatically suggests interlinking posts based on categories.
    Your thoughts?

Yes, it’s better to do it manually when you have a few numbers of posts. But it’s not a good idea when you have a huge amount of blog posts.

Hi Rayhan, you shared some good helpful tips, especially the Yoast Premium one, I didn’t know that. I like to naturally mention my older posts as when I see it fit. It also helps when someone copy paste your content with the exact internal link. I talked about it in my latest post on plagiarism.

      Hi Tamal bhai,

Glad to see you after a long time.

Yes, doing it naturally is the best way. But when you have a good number of posts, it’s tough to do it naturally. And interlinking also becomes helpful when someone copies the content. Thanks for stopping by.

My pleasure! You are doing a great job with your blog with so much info. I will copy your gif how to screenshots, it was in my mind for sometime.

The WordPress default linking helps a lot. When you search for a post and link it, it also adds the post title as the link title attribute. Which is good for SEO of course.

Thanks for sharing an important post on interlinking of blog posts.
I have a question – normally all posts have incoming internal links from the Home Page (via category). Should we provide outgoing internal links from a blog post back to the Home page?

    1. Istiak Rayhan Avatar
      Istiak Rayhan

No, we don’t need to do that as all of the pages contain Home page link on header.

      1. Hari+Mohan+Sharma Avatar

        Thanks for clarifying.
