“Comments on this entry are closed”
Recently I’ve noticed that some of my old posts show that ‘Comments on this entry are closed’ that means visitor won’t be able to comment on those posts. But I didn’t disable the comments option or any other setting.
After some research, I was able to find the problem. When I searched for this terms in Google I realized that many WordPress users also face this problem. So here is a quick guide to fix “Comments are Closed” under the posts.

Thanks, bro.
Worked like a charm.
I would agree… very helpful. I submitted a ticket to my theme developer and they couldn’t figure out why comments were not showing. I sent them this link and we all had a good laugh at how easy it was to fix. It does appear it is set as some sort of WP default. Anyway, thank you very much for helping to get rid of that headache!
Haha…glad I could help.

Glad I could help.
Thanks . It was very helpful article . It solved my problem
Thanks for posting this. I just discovered I was having this problem today. I had no recollection of setting my comments to be closed after a period of time and was wondering how the hell that happened. Looks like it’s that way by default. That’s something they don’t tell you in the instructional videos.
