How to Create and Style a Sticky Post in WordPress

A sticky post stays at the top of your blog page, above newer posts. It is perfect for a welcome post, an important announcement, a popular guide, or a limited-time offer. WordPress has this feature built in, so you do not need a plugin.

How to Make a Post Sticky (Block Editor)

1. Open the post you want to stick.
2. In the Post settings sidebar on the right, look in the Summary panel.
3. Check Stick to the top of the blog.
4. Click Update or Publish.
